On Saturday, May 9 , 2020– the day after VE Day was declared in Europe 75 years ago- we are hosting a special dinner/dance evening to commemorate and celebrate this significant anniversary. The dinner and dance is not only a time for honouring the service of our WW2 Veterans to the nation and the cessation of hostilities on May 8, 1945, it is also a fundraiser for the British Columbia Aviation Museum, in its efforts to restore the Lancaster aircraft it acquired last year, as well as other related projects.
