I am excited to perform "The Confession Stone" (Seven Songs of Mary) by Robert Fleming, for the 3rd time in this series. This is an absolutely beautiful work written for Canadian contralto Maureen Forrester in the 1960s. Also in this concert is one of Pergolesi's most celebrated works "Stabat Mater", performed by my friends and colleagues, Marnie Setka-Mooney and Sara Partridge. Jim Hill will be on piano.
